SEVEN WONDERS OF WORLD

SEVEN MODERN WONDERS OF WORLD: A swiss foundation started the campaign of finding the seven wonder of world. More than 100 million people cast vote in favor of  campaign on internet or social platform. After great struggle, These are finalized seven wonders of world in 2007 from 200 sites. The ancient wonders are listed in 2 B.C(all are destroyed except pyramid ).

These are listed below:

1.THE TAJ MAHAL:

It is  most beautiful and fascinating building in Agra, India   world. It is type of Museum and surrounded by four tombs. It was built by great emperor of Mughal the Shah Jahan in honor of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It take twenty two years  and twenty thousand workers to make this tomb .The high level   architecture that made the Taj mahal in return the emperor cut his hand so they never built this building for other.  It is very beautiful with immense garden and reflecting swimming pool. It made with white marble and other precious  stone. 

2. The Great wall of China:

It is largest building in world(so high that can be see from moon).It was built from rock, stones and wood. It was 5,500 miles long .It was built by ancient Chinese emperor for defense from nomadic tribes Several walls were built from as early as the 7th century BC,[4] with selective stretches later joined together by Qin Shi Huang (220–206 BC), the first emperor of China. Little of the Qin wall remains. Later on, many successive dynasties built and maintained multiple stretches of border walls. The best-known sections of the wall were built by the Ming dynasty .It was one of historical place in world.

3.PETRA JORDEN:

It was built by Nabataea, an Arabic dynasty .It was located in Petra ,Jorden. They made it capital and trade center .It was famous for spices trading. Hundreds of year ago, An earthquake  destroyed the Petra ,Jorden .It was re discovered in 1912 but ignored by archeologist until 20 century. 

4.MACCU PICHUU: 

It was located in corozo, Peru. It was discovered by Hiram Bingham 1911.  Most recent archaeologists (2021) believe that Machu Picchu was constructed as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438–1472). Often mistakenly referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas", it is the most familiar icon of Inca civilization. The Incas built the estate around 1450 but abandoned it a century later, at the time of the Spanish conquest.

5.Chichan Itza:

It was located  in  Mayan city ,Mexico. It was built in 9th and 10th century. It was very old and historical place of world that made of stones. It is largest home to sporting field  (tlachtli) in Americas.

6.CHRIST THE REDEMEER:

It was built on top of Mountain after world War 1. It was located in Rio de joineries, Brazil. It was 98m long and 26 high. It was created by French sculptor Paul and Brazilian Heritor de saliva.  It was largest sculpture statue. It was made for religious purpose. Christ the redeemer was built  from concrete and approx. six million tiles. It was one of largest  and finest statue in world.

7.Colooseum: 

It was built in 1st century by emperor Vespaesin . It hold almost 50,00 peoples. It watched variety of events. Most notables were Gladiator fights in which men fight with animals. Around 50,000 peoples died and doubles animals died.
