Greatest Painter of Pakistan
However, our nation does not have much interest in Art Nonetheless, we have contributed to different fields of Art. Painting is one of them. There are many great painters of Pakistan. But, in my opinion, Sadequain is the greatest painter of Pakistan. He is the Michael Anglo of Pakistan.
Life of Sadequain
:Sadequian was born in 1930 Amroah, India. he belongs to a middle-class family who later migrated to Pakistan. From childhood, he has a keen interest in painting. So, he started his journey of painting and calligraphy from a young age. He spent his whole life in Lahore. He displayed his paintings outside of art gallery or exhibition area.Distinct rule of work: He formed more than fifty thousand calligraphy pieces and fifteen thousand paintings. Shockingly, he never charged any fee for making them. His sources of income were exhibition fees, official projects, and the displacement of his art in abroad. He lived his life like a sufi and remained grounded throughout his life. His madness of work was incredible. Sometimes, he was so busy at work even he forgot to eat or sleep.

His dear friend mustansir hussain tartar said “Every time he was making patterns of his designs in mind also during gossip with friends that's why he moved his hand all the time and suddenly, he stood up and started to make painting on canvas.”
Work of Sadequain:
He formed more than fifty thousand calligraphy pieces and fifteen thousand paintings. Shockingly, he never charged any fee for making them. Most of these he has made in request of his fans and loved ones. His impressive work on calligraphy was amazing as we saw in the biggest museum of Paksitan. He painted many Art galleries, museums, and shrines.
Tribute to Sadequain
Government gave him “Sitare Imtiaz” and “pride of performance” for his work. however, he was praised by many cultural organizations of the world. Thus, he was an unforgettable legend of painting and calligraphy. He died in 1987, Karachi.
