Further north from from Babusar Pass, a jeep track leads to Chilas, which is now on Karakoram Highway (the road that connects Islamabad to Xinjiang province of China via Gilgit, Hunza and kpk.

BEST TIME FOR VISITING THE KAGHAN :The best time to visit Naran is in "the summer months" due to less probability of snowfall and blocked roads but the city is accessible in the summer months as well. During summer months the temperature can go up to 20 degree centigrade and in winters drops well beyond the freezing point due to heavy snowfall.


the best time to visit is from may to  sep when valley is green spring robes.
